does anyone now what the bus fares are like staying in bitacora hotel/aparts

Coming back to Lanzarote (Costa Teguise) for my 6th visit in Feb 2009. My sister and niece are coming out with me. They really want to see Timanfaya, however, none of us are drivers and we do not have a tour rep at our apartments. Does anyone know of alternative ways we can visit "Fire Mountain" that will not cost an arm and a leg! Many thanks!!! :)

First trip to Lanzarote mid Oct this year, and weather was very mixed. Decided to come back again ( enjoyed it so much ! ) in late July, but more concerned about the sirocco wind than the heat !

Hi, we are going to the Lanzarote Bay Apartments on Dec 7th 2008. Any idea what the weather will be like, and has anyone stayed at this hotel recently? Going for a break fro my 'young' husbands 60th birthday, any advice or info will be welcome.
