They really want to see Timanfaya, however, none of us are drivers and we do not have a tour rep at our apartments. Weather and the wind in July around Playa Blanca
First trip to Lanzarote mid Oct this year, and weather was very mixed. Decided to come back again ( enjoyed it so much ! ) in late July, but more concerned about the sirocco wind than the heat !

Can anyone tell me what the £ to € exchange rate is in Lanzarote at present. Got €1-42 in March 2007, but sure its much lower now. Exchanged cash last time but found higher rate for travellers cheques. Any ideas to make the £ go further greatly appreciated. Be first to answer this question

Hi, We have been to Lanzarote many times and adore the island. We are now trying to convince my mum and dad that they would have a great time if they came along with us on our next trip. However, they are very set in their ways and go to car-boot sales and flea markets several times a week - it's a very important part of their weekly routine now they have retired! Does anyone know if Lanza has any regular car-boot sales or markets(apart from the Sunday market in Teguise), that they could visit if they come along with us. We are arriving early May for 3 weeks.
