I understand there is a bus (route 06) which goes from Playa Blanca, calling at Puerto del Carmen on its way to Arrecife.
Does anyone know the distance from Playa Blanca to Puerto del Carmen and how long it takes on the bus?

I'm out in C/T at the end of the month & want to do a bit of touring looking at property. Is ther anywhere I can hire a trike motorcycle from? Otherwise it'll Hertz cars :o(. the other half has a bit of bad back & won't manage two wheels! ;o)

I know that the Canary islands are well known for the fish dishes, but as a keen sea fisherman, can anyone tell me what i can expect to catch off the rocks on the island?
- and what may be edible(or not) to throw on the BBQ back at the villa!

We are moving to Arrecife in June for my new job.
Is it possible to get all the usual UK TV channels(BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 etc) via satelite or cable in Lanzarote?
As i understand, we may require a huge dish to pick up UK TV.
