excellant position
Reviewed by , 2008-03-27 lovely hotel and staff clean and tidy only downside wind circulates around the pool making it feel cold so we went to the beach most days which was a lot hotter.Plenty of shops and bars nearby.

excellent spot
Reviewed by Michael, 2007-08-22 First day back from the Barcelo La Galea and missing it so much. Our first trip to Lanzarote, certainly not the last. The Hotel certainly caters for families and the staff are very attentive. We experienced a wide range of buffet style meals and were entertained both day and night by the fabulous Ricardo, who was very successful in engaging all age groups in a variety of games and entertainment. The 3 pools were used by all and were kept very clean, as was the seated areas around the pool. The Hotel is situated in an excellent spot with direct access onto the beach front. There are numerous shops around the hotel, along with themed bars and numerous water-sport activities. I am certain that we will return, taking as many family members as we can!

Right on the beach
Reviewed by Margaret, 2007-06-16 Very very central, pools great and not crowded. Easy to get a sunlounger at any time of the day. Entertainment for the kids very good. Accomodation very spacious and clean with good facilities. The back of the hotel is right on the beach front and close to several great bars. The Irish bailey in particular does great hot chocolate fudge cake. The staff were excellant and have booked again for next year.
