On arrival the reception seemed a bit dated including the chap on the reception - just imagine a spanish version of Fawlty Towers !!
The room (No. 230) was very clean and looked like it had just been redecorated. The kitchen was basic but clean and had everything you needed. One small problem with our room was that it was located quite near to the night-time entertainment room, so a few nights we had to hear people howling on karaoke! This normally stopped about 11pm though and not many people where actually in bed by 10pm like us!
The Siroco Apartments I would say are located one end of Costa Teguise and the bars and eating places are more the other end. Although it only took about 10-15 minutes to walk down to them.
Los Charcos beach was lovely and only took about 5 minutes to walk too, very clean with white sand although there where some volcanic stone and rocks in parts of the water.
I would say the staff wheren't that friendly, everyone was just getting on with their jobs, which is fair enough.
We paid approx £270 (for 2 adults - self catering - for 7 days) for this holiday, which included Insurance and flight transfers, so we really couldn't complain about anything.
I'm actually thinking about going back next month!
A cheap and cheerful holiday with beautiful (windy) weather.
Just one thing .. the view from our balcony faced inland, towards the mountains, which was very nice but we noticed a sand pit for the kids just below our window which the local cats where using as a litter tray. So if you are taking children, please don't let them play in the sand pits!!
