Camera Rip off Merchants ?

I visited Lanzarote earlier this year and I too ended up a victim of the Digital Camera scams. We stayed in Playa Blanca and was duped by what can only be described as a Group of Conmen. I won`t go into detail but basically I went to buy a Digital Camera which I`d seen in window. 12 Megapixel at unbelievable price and then ended up walking out with another. One which is not worth the money I paid nor made by company it is reputed to be manufactured by. I demanded my money back half way through, and after some verbal exchanges, my wife and I became surrounded by a Group of 6-8 Asian guys. We felt intimidated and threatened. I deciced to cut our losses and get out of the shop. This has left a sour taste in my mouth. I didn`t report it as I felt it probably was a waste of time, and also I was embarrassed by the con. The guys should be exposed, and thrown off your lovely island. Don`t think we`ll ever visit again as a result. KEEP AWAY !!!!!! Basically, your best not to venture into any of these type of shops. They all appear to be the same.
