PWA Windsurfing World Tour 2007

Playa de Las Cucharas - Costa Teguise, Lanzarote.

30 June - 07 July 2007 The PWA windsurf world tour takes place every year in Canary islands. For 2007, selected islands are : Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, and Lanzarote ! Dont miss the Grand Slam competition featuring Freestyle (Men/Women) and Slalom 42 (Men) on Lanzarote.

Its really a nice show! The location is perfect as you see windsurfers really close from the beach/rocks, and the competition dates choosed are the most windy normally, so probably a lot of action.

Special credits to :

Jose - Gollito - Estredo, he made a VERY impressive performance at Lanzarote! He won all days... style + complex tricks, he is actually one step ahead all others riders at freestyle.

Marcilio Browne, I saw him training some days before competition and I was really impressed by his style.

Tonky Frans, great free session freestyle, very clean style and tricks.

Kiri Thode, he can do all in a heat ! all the windsurf tricks since 1990 without falling...

Bjorn Dunkerbeck, he was really faster then the others during the windy days of slalom 42.

I saw the freestyle event and I must admit that Gollito Estredo was really above all others riders.

Very impressive heats, unbelievable tricks, and with a nice fluid style... 2007 title again for him ? I thin probably yes, he deserves it.
